MET-Rx and Droga5's New Campaign Challenges Us to Focus on Our Futures

It’s not about the trophies.Elite athletes know they don’t have time to rest on their laurels - they’re focusing all their attention on training for the next game, their next rival, the next level. To them, what’s next is always more important than what’s resting on the shelves. So while trophies are a symbol of an athlete’s past accomplishments, what drives them forward is what they’ll conquer next.

Introducing the newest campaign from nutritional supplements brand, MET-Rx, which falls under The Nature’s Bounty Co umbrella. MET-Rx designs products to prepare athletes to take their training to the next level. The integrated campaign, created in partnership with agency, Droga5, will be live Monday, April 24th in the lead up to one of the biggest off-the-field sporting events of the year - the NFL Draft - a time when training for next is at the top of the list.


Newest spokesperson for MET-Rx is Leonard Fournette - former star running back and current projected top pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Fournette is widely considered one of the most exciting players available for the upcoming professional football season. As an elite MET-Rx athlete who is always striving to achieve the next big thing, Fournette embodies what the new campaign communicates.

“Trophies are fine but they aren’t what define your success,” says Leonard Fournette. “Athletes get motivated by focusing on the next thing and training to get there. You can’t get distracted by shine. I appreciate that MET-Rx stands for that. I hope the campaign inspires young athletes to focus on what comes next.”

The new MET-Rx campaign is available online with various-length films, all featuring Leonard Fournette undergoing his next level training. On Thursday (4/27), just hours before Draft, Leonard will take over a live stream on the MET-Rx Facebook and Instagram pages, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look as he prepares himself for one of the biggest nights of his life.
