The reinforced leadership team demonstrates Merkle’s commitment to strengthening its strategic tech alliances partnerships and Salesforce offering

Merkle, dentsu’s leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer experience management (CXM) company, today announces the expansion of its EMEA Salesforce practice with the appointment of three new strategic hires.

These key roles support the further expansion of Merkle’s Salesforce practice to help clients achieve the maximum value from their investment, across implementation, integration with their existing tech stack, and ongoing management to deliver and accelerate their customer experience transformation programmes. The appointments come on the heels of the recent Pexlify acquisition in the UK and Ireland, and follow Michel Mayor’s promotion to global salesforce practice lead in March.

With the recent promotion of Michel Mayor as global practice lead, Xavier Bocken has been appointed as VP EMEA salesforce practice lead. In his new role, Xavier will be collaborating with senior growth and operation leaders to ensure accelerated growth of the Salesforce practice. He brings with him 20+ years of martech experience, acting as client sponsor to Merkle’s strategic EMEA customers, and will drive collaboration across the region’s practices.

Jean-Marie Voegeli joins as salesforce practice operation VP, bringing 15+ years of international programme management expertise. Jean-Marie’s wealth of delivery experience will allow Merkle to develop common delivery practices and shared resources management processes across its regional practices to support Merkle’s clients.

Nisrine Danaf has also been promoted to EMEA lead salesforce practice development. Formerly Salesforce Training and Education Manager, Nisrine will retain her position within the Merkle DACH cluster and will help to accelerate certification-training-enablement initiatives across the region, offering all Merkle talent the opportunity to become a stronger/certified Salesforce trailblazer.

Merkle’s close relationship with Salesforce dates back to 2004, and has over 3,000 Salesforce-trained staff globally, 2,300 Salesforce certifications, and over 2,000 implementations. As the only digital agency recognised in the latest Salesforce Implementation Forrester Wave, Merkle seeks to strengthen its relationship through the deployment of outstanding career development programmes such as the Salesforce RefugeeForce Alliance and several training academies which positively impact the lives of many, strengthening Merkle’s EMEA practice with hundreds of new Salesforce professionals.

Michel Mayor, global practice lead, said “I am extremely proud and honoured to welcome Xavier, Jean-Marie, and Nisrine as members of our regional Salesforce platform. Individually, each of them will bring a unique set of competencies, a proven track record and a unique personality which will help advance our global practice ambitions. Collectively, their efforts will offer Salesforce talents across EMEA an exciting environment to work, a practice built of talented and diverse trailblazers jointly collaborating on some of the world most iconic brands’ Salesforce projects.”

Nick McCarthy, SVP, EMEA alliances director, added, “As we continue to grow and accelerate our partnership as Salesforce’s Number 1 Agency partner in EMEA, we are constantly looking to promote, hire and support staff in order to continue delivering excellent results for our clients. Salesforce supports brands to create more personal customer experiences, and we will be continuing to invest in our Salesforce proposition to further establish Merkle as the leading agency within the digital transformation space.”
