Meeker Makes Partner at Interrogate
George Meeker has joined bi-coastal production company Interrogate as Executive Producer/Partner. He unites with Jeff Miller who launched Interrogate in May 2010 after eight years at Smuggler. Meeker had previously been Executive Producer at Santa Monica based Furlined, where he had worked since the companyʼs inception.
The partnership is an extension of Interrogateʼs growth over the last year. “Itʼs really been phenomenal, not just the volume of work but the creative opportunities that our directors have been part of,” said managing partner Jeff Miller. “With George being part of the company we will be able to elevate both our pace and growth.” In the US, Interrogate represents Jeff Labbé, the Snorri Bros, Henrik Hallgren, Amit Mehta, and Outsider directors, James Rouse, Scott Lyon, Bart Timmer, Henry LIttlechild, Jörn Threlfall, and Vesa Manninen. For Meeker, he knew right away that a partnership with Miller was the right fit: “Immediately, Jeff and I had an understanding for each other and for what we want to accomplish in the business. From the first day itʼs been, ʻOkay, letʼs do something big.ʼ “

Jeff Miller began his career in film as an actor and screenwriter, which led him to produce independent features. He eventually found his way into commercials and music videos, producing work for Sam Bayer, and the directing collective Traktor. After producing for Traktor, Jeff made a home at a small, then-unknown company called Smuggler. In 2009, after producing hundreds of jobs in over 40 countries and shepherding hardware for his directors in every major award show, Jeff took a goldfish, two big hugs from Brian and Patrick, and started Interrogate.

After graduating from Emerson, he accepted an opportunity to work as a production assistant for Diane McArter; their relationship developed over twelve years and spanned two production companies, during which time he earned the title of
Executive Producer. At Furlined, George helped to shape the initial concepts of the brand, which he reflects on as one of the best experiences in his career. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and twin boys.
