MediaMonks, the biggest creative production agency in Europe wins its first Favourite Website Award (FWA) of 2012. MediaMonks receives the FWA for their work on the TEDx Amsterdam website. Featuring a living digital brain, the website portrays the online conversations covering the TEDx Amsterdam program. 2011 saw MediaMonks win three FWA’s, the highest score on the Dutch market.
The website, based on TEDx’s slogan “ideas worth spreading”, maps online conversations on a timeline interface and the digital brain visualizes the spread of the most talked about subjects at the conference. Based on the concept created by communications agency We Are Pi, MediaMonks designed and produced the website. (
