MediaMonks today announces the appointment of Kelly Kandle to the role of VR executive producer of the global production powerhouse’s Los Angeles operations. She will report into Co-Founder and COO, Wesley ter Haar, and the company’s Global Head of VR, Ola Björling.

Kelly was most recently at RYOT, where she served as an executive producer on over 30 Virtual Reality and linear film projects for numerous brands and partners, including PepsiCo, Walgreens, Gatorade and The New York Times, among others. Prior to that, Kelly was at Naaila Films where she produced video content for clients such as United Airlines, Beyoncé and Time Magazine.

The announcement comes as MediaMonks continues to ramp up its West Coast operations. Kelly’s hire illustrates the company’s continued devotion to technological development and innovation within the realm of digital production. Its Los Angeles business ventures have grown rapidly, necessitating a move into a larger workspace on Venice Beach’s trendy Abbot Kinney Blvd.
