Today MEC announced that Daniel Zivica has been named to the newly created role of Chairman Czech Republic and Slovakia. In in his new role he’ll oversee both MEC Czech Republic and MEC Slovakia offices, responsible for the strategic leadership and agency product, financial management and investment, the implementation of the Digital and Data Shift plan and talent strategy and management across both territories.
Marek Hofhanzl remains as CEO for Czech Republic, and will work very closely with Daniel on the agency’s strategic product as well focusing on the management of the Czech office and its clients. Daniel and Marek will share client management responsibility.
Daniel will report to Anna Lubowska, Chairperson for MEC in CEE, Russia and CIS. Marek will report to Daniel.
Commenting on the restructure, Anna Lubowska said, “As we look at how our business has developed in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia over the past few years, along with our client portfolio, our agency positioning and our people, there is a real opportunity to strengthen and further develop synergies between the two markets.
