MEC, a leading media agency has soared to first place in the latest Qualitative Ranking of UK agencies from RECMA, the Research Company Evaluating the Media Agency Industry.
The evaluation goes beyond billings, providing a detailed overview of the media agency networks strengths and weaknesses which are evaluated against 18 criteria in four key areas: Competitiveness, Momentum, Resources and Client Profile.
Criteria include: billings share and growth, account moves, competitiveness in pitches, new business activity, changes to the top management and awards, as well as digital specialist staff, diversified services, exposure to big clients and loyalty.
MEC has climbed two places since March this year to lead the RECMA rankings. The news is further evidence of MEC’s success in 2014, including new business wins amounting to £110m so far this calendar year.
