MEC Bolsters Expertise With Three Senior Promotions

MEC has announced the promotion of three of its senior leaders, David Fletcher, Verra Budimlija and Pete Buckley, as the agency continues to invest in its people.

David, previously Head of Analytics & Insight, becomes MEC UK’s first ever Chief Data Officer and takes responsibility for further building the agency’s data expertise and supporting client growth. David, who has recently been awarded IPA Fellowship status, has been with MEC for over 25 years and has been instrumental in developing MEC’s Analytics & Insight team in the UK.

Head of Strategy Verra Budimlija has been promoted to Chief Strategy Officer while Pete takes on the role of Head of Strategy. Pete, who recently won the bronze Admap essay prize, will be supporting Verra in the continued development of strategically-focused work and building on MEC’s strong tradition of thought leadership in the industry.
