On the heels of being named the world’s most effective brand for the second year in a row, McDonald's has been awarded 11 Lions in the first three days of the 59th Annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
The early week wins build on a strong awards momentum for McDonald’s, which was recognized Monday night by the 2012 Effie Effectiveness Index as the world’s most effective brand. Wins thus far include Bronze and Silver Lions in the Media, Mobile, Outdoor, and Promo categories. McDonald’s is up for additional Lions this week in the Radio, Design, and Film categories, among others.
