McCann Worldgroup announced today that Singleton Beato has been named to the new global role of Chief Diversity & Engagement Officer. She joins from the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s), where she had been Executive VP, Diversity Strategy and Talent Development.
In her new position, Beato will support McCann’s continuing mission to drive diversity programs around the world for the agency, its employees and its clients.

Beato has more than 20 years of experience as an accomplished human resources leader in driving people and culture initiatives across a wide range of industries, including advertising. In 2010, she joined the 4A’s, where she managed industry-wide strategic talent and culture initiatives. Her accomplishments included leading the transformation of the Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) and the 4A’s Foundation, as well as the development of The Face Of Talent symposium and the industry’s only national Talent Leadership Conference, Talent@2030. She has received numerous accolades for her work from the American Advertising Federation, ADCOLOR and the World Diversity Leadership Summit. She holds an M.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
