McCann Worldgroup Japan (Representative Director and President: Charles Cadell, Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo) announced the appointment of Caspar Ouvaroff as Representative Director, President of MRM//McCann (MRM Worldwide Inc.) in Japan effective October 1. Caspar will report to Charles Cadell, Representative Director, President and CEO of McCann Worldgroup Japan, and Kate MacNevin, Global President, MRM//McCann.
Ouvaroff joins MRM//McCann Japan with more than 25 years of experience in building clients’ businesses through innovative marketing and communication solutions across the advertising spectrum. From digital to direct response, broadcast to data analytics, Ouvaroff has worked across each to deliver for all his clients.
Cadell said, “I am delighted to have Caspar onboard. His experience and track record will be invaluable to help us lead the way as McCann Worldgroup Japan focuses its operations in relation to the opportunities emerging for our clients in this increasingly digital and data-rich world.”
Ouvaroff spent the last four and half years working in MRM//McCann’s New York office successfully running the office’s largest account, United States Postal Service (USPS). During that time he worked closely with a broad spectrum of McCann Worldgroup companies, including McCann, IPG Mediabrands/UM, Momentum, Weber Shandwick, FutureBrand and Casanova//McCann, to deliver groundbreaking work. He is driven by a commitment to deliver with a focus on data utilization, enabling him to grow the agency’s responsibilities on USPS to include Digital Design & Development, Data and Analytics, Campaign Performance, B2B Content Marketing and Innovation/Product Prototyping.
His team’s work on USPS has won two Cannes Lions over the past two years, along with a number of Webbys, Effie Awards, One Show and DMA Echo Awards, and helped propel MRM//McCann to be named Ad Age’s B2B Agency of the Year in 2018.

Before joining MRM//McCann, Ouvaroff worked at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, running a number of accounts across the telecom and financial services categories. He also launched and successfully ran his own boutique agency in New York City with clients, including AXA Financial, Victoria’s Secret and Grand Marnier.
