McCann Worldgroup China today announced that Wu Shu has joined McCann as general manager. Wu will lead the business teams of both McCann Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Wu comes to McCann from Blue Focus, where she was GM of Blue Focus Shanghai’s Brand Centre. With more than 18 years of professional experience across advertising, communication and marketing, Wu has solid experience and proven success leading media, brand, and agency teams. She has managed an extensive range of communication and marketing teams that span content development and corporate/brand communication to social, digital marketing, KOL/influencer strategy and e-commerce.
Prior to her time at Blue Focus, Wu held various client-side roles with Starbucks China, including head of social, and has also worked with two television channels.
Having worked in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing and Chengdu, Wu deeply understands the China market and possesses a strategic, collaborative and agile mindset: “I am so excited to have joined McCann, having always been impressed by their strong client roster in China.
