McCann Wins Mobile Lions Award for Momondo
"Friend Compass" app wins award
Travel site momondo.co.uk has this week won a prestigious Mobile Lions Award, together with developer McCann, at the Cannes Lions.
This joint win was for the innovative Friend Compass. This integrated feature of the free momondo mobile app, is available on iPhone and Android and connects the user’s Facebook friends with flight searches to the places they live. Turning a smartphone into a compass, it instantly reveals where friends live around the world, and how much it costs to go and visit them.
Cannes Lions is the global meeting place for professionals working in creative communications. The event sees 12,000 people from 94 countries come together to be inspired by seven days of learning, networking and celebration.
