McCann New York Announces Managing Partners to Business Leadership

McCann New York announced today key appointments to the agency’s Business Leadership team designed to fuel agility across cross functional teams and creative excellence for its roster of clients. Joining Nikki Maizel, head of business leadership and managing partner is the addition of Ken Mulligan and the elevation of Rebecca Kluin to managing partner, all reporting into McCann New York CEO Amber Guild. 

Nikki, Rebeccas, and Ken will be responsible for driving collaboration among interdisciplinary teams across business leadership, creative, and strategy leaders, while ensuring the creative excellence of client businesses. Together, they strive to cultivate a culture of belonging and continuous growth for the agency’s talent. McCann New York’s clients include Reckitt brands, TJX Companies, Prudential, Smirnoff, Converse, Microsoft, New York Lottery, and State Street Global Advisors to name a few.

Rebecca and Ken join Nikki to lead the agency’s diverse client roster. As head of business leadership and managing partner at McCann New York, Nikki brings more than two decades of experience leading integrated marketing initiatives across telco, retail, consumer electronics, gaming, casual dining and consumer packaged goods industries, among others. Her leadership on the New York Lottery account has resulted in two successful recompetes for McCann Worldgroup and continued creative accolades and innovation.  

Ken joins McCann New York from WPP’s VML. Over the last 20 years, he has led ground breaking initiatives for some of the world's most renowned brands, including Amazon, Samsung, Sony, COTY, P&G, Reckitt, Johnson & Johnson, among others. With extensive experience in new business, Mulligan brings a strong focus on growth across client partnerships, team development and agency capabilities. Ken is deeply committed to cultivating an inclusive culture that empowers teams to produce impactful and innovative work.  

Rebecca has been with McCann Worldgroup for more than 17 years, working across APAC, EU, MENA and North American markets. Her incredible mix of marketing experience has made her a truly integrated brand leader with a deep understanding of how to drive brands at the local, national and global level. She most recently spearheaded L’Oreal’s NYX Professional Makeup brand through its Super Bowl debut, marking the brand’s 25th anniversary.  

This announcement builds on the agency’s momentum with recent new business wins including PwC. The agency recently announced the redesign and investment to strengthening its key capability offerings, including McCann Content Studios, the network’s social, content creation and influencer strategy practice, award-winning Design practice and Audience and Connections expertise.
