Creative duo Alex Dunning and Erik Uvhagen join McCann London as Senior Creatives, while Business Consultant Zena Bruges arrives as Creative Services Director
Formerly of Grey London, Dunning and Uvhagen, who have delivered work for brands including Duracell, The Times and Volvo, formally partnered eight months ago, having worked on numerous successful projects together. Prior to meeting at Grey, Dunning worked in art direction at Weapon7 and Uvhagen was based in Sweden as a copywriter. The duo joins the creative team, led by Rob Doubal and Laurence Thomson, Co-Presidents and Chief Creative Officers, to soak up new account wins and lend their creative talent to existing clients.
Meanwhile, Bruges joins the agency in a newly appointed role – Creative Services Director – following a 15-year career in creative business development. After running a successful interactive art and design studio, Bruges joined 101 London, now part of MullenLowe, as Head of Output in 2011. She later worked at The Future Laboratory as Managing Director, before becoming a full-time consultant and mentor, launching her own consultancy, The Business Side, in 2016.
Thomson said: “We are thrilled to welcome creative duo Alex and Erik and creative business consultant Zena to the team at the start of what is sure to be a very exciting year for McCann. We went out with a bang in 2017, with some great new hires, and we expect to see even more talent join the ranks in 2018. This is just the beginning. Welcome aboard Alex, Erik and Zena.”
