McCann London Appoints Tommy Smith as Managing Director

McCann London is delighted to announce the promotion of Tommy Smith to managing director. 

Tommy, who has been at McCann London for seven years and was previously joint head of business leadership, will sit on the management team and continue reporting to McCann London CEO Polly McMorrow. 

In his new role, Tommy will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the agency, delivering the vision and setting the overall culture of the agency. He will continue to run the global Just Eat Takeaway account, along with Wimbledon and Nestle Cereals. 

Since joining McCann London in 2016, Tommy has led the agency to numerous award wins including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show and CLIO Awards. Under his leadership, Just Eat Takeaway has delivered populist, fame-driving communication, further cementing its position as category leader.
