McCann Canada announced today that Michelle Aboud will join the executive leadership team as SVP, managing director of McCann Montreal. This news follows recent senior appointments in Montreal, including Badr El Fekkak, who joined in September 2020 as VP, strategy.

She’s respected by clients and across all disciplines on the agency side,” said Ryan Timms, president, McCann Canada. “Michelle cares deeply about people and the work they do for clients. She’s not one to preside over things. She wants to be in it, sleeves rolled-up, actively involved in impacting the strategies we construct and the creative work we do.”

Prior to McCann, Michelle worked as a consultant on business and brand strategy for SMEs and global brands across various industries, including luxury personal care and wellness start-ups in the US and Canada. Before consulting, she was partner and vice-president, account services at Bleublancrouge, where she played a senior role with major accounts such as Sephora, Cadillac Fairview, Desjardins and Cineplex.
The moves in Canada follow a recently announced series of global senior appointments at McCann. Chris Macdonald has taken on the role of chairman and CEO of McCann and Harjot Singh has been promoted to global chief strategy officer for McCann.
