McCann Appoints Samantha Strauss as Regional Communications Director APAC

McCann Worldgroup Asia has today announced the appointment of Samantha Strauss as Regional Director of Communications. Based in Singapore, she reports to Charles Cadell, President of McCann Worldgroup Asia-Pacific.

Samantha will be responsible for internal and external communications, aligning key stakeholders to raise the profile of the network across the region.

She moves from BBDO Asia, where she has spent the past three-and-a-half years overseeing their PR and communications. She led the PR for the agency’s ground-breaking ‘World Under Water’ campaign in 2014, which “took over social media” (according to CNN) and resulted in a partnership with the UNEP.

Prior to BBDO, Samantha held various event production and management positions with Haymarket offices in London, Singapore and Hong Kong. She also spent two years with FutureGov magazine in Singapore, specialising in Asian Government summits.
