McCann announced today that it has won McArthurGlen’s European creative business following a competitive pitch, managed by Oystercatchers. Led out of McCann London, working in collaboration with McCann offices in the UK, France, Germany, and Italy, the agency will become the group’s lead creative partners of record across the region.
McArthurGlen is Europe’s leading owner, developer and manager of designer outlets with 26 shopping centres in 10 countries across Europe and in Canada, attracting over 90 million customers every year. Continuing to shape the concept of destination shopping with a single-minded focus on its customers, the group will partner with McCann to create a new platform to drive penetration in key markets across the regions in which it operates.
Nathalie Pomroy, CMO, McArthurGlen said, “We are thrilled to have appointed McCann as our new Creative and Brand partner, supporting our international creative and business ambitions. We are looking forward to this exciting new chapter, continuing to drive penetration across Europe – particularly as we prepare to open our 27th centre to the west of Paris, Paris-Giverny, in the first quarter of next year.”
Jessica Tamsedge, chief client officer, McCann Europe & UK, “As the world reopens, brands like McArthurGlen are playing a vital role in bringing people together again. With fantastic destinations across Europe, we could not be more excited to bring the joy of designer outlet shopping to new audiences. A creative opportunity we are delighted to be taking on.”
