M&C Saatchi’s Bang PR Names Annalise Brown Managing Director

Bang PR, M&C Saatchi’s public relations and social business, has appointed Porter Novelli Managing Director Annalise Brown to MD.

Brown comes to Bang with more than 15 years experience in the owned and earned media spaces where she has worked across virtually every category, including financial services, airlines, electronics, alcohol, food, fashion, entertainment, automotive and FMCG.

In her time at Porter Novelli, Brown rose to MD and sat on the Clemenger BBDO Sydney management team. She was instrumental in growing the Porter Novelli business and steering the social offering for both agencies.

She had similar success with lengthy stints as Managing Director at first Spin then Splendid Communications.

Launched 10 years ago, Bang PR is an established performer and has been a key contributor to M&C Saatchi’s integrated offering since its acquisition by the Group in February 2012.

Major clients include: Universal Sony, Vivid Festival, Luna Park, Camp Gallipoli, Australian Cancer Research Foundation, UBet and V8 Supercars.

Brown replaces former Bang PR MD Narelle Craig, who has moved overseas to pursue new opportunities.
