As it now enjoys its one-year anniversary since official launch, M&C Saatchi Talk is also celebrating incredible talent growth after a fantastic first quarter. After the initial announcement of the strategic and creative talent joining the business, M&C Saatchi Talk is also now also proud to announce the agency’s new head of consumer, Steve Kirk.
In line with M&C Saatchi Group’s new strategy, revealed on Capital Markets Day earlier this year, enabling clients “to navigate, create and lead meaningful change”, M&C Saatchi Talk echoes this vision in its own agency direction through “creating the conversations” that make this meaningful change.
The direction has entailed an evolution of the business and an expansion of its sector expertise owing to an increasing number of client opportunities gained, as recently reported by PR Week in their Top 150 UK Consultancies 2021 reveal. With this direction, the agency is in a great position to bring on talent with the wealth of experience required for the times ahead.
Leading Consumer Conversations
Steve Kirk will be leading the agency’s consumer division and brings over 20 years of communications experience to the role. He’s spent the last decade working on integrated brand campaigns for advertising and PR agencies, providing earned channel consultation and leading global, European and national projects for the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, MINI, Hyundai, NatWest, Club Med, Castrol and First Direct.
Steve started out his career in journalism, editing monthly magazines for IPC Media, before moving into PR and the in-house team at Honda. There, he ran PR communications across cars, motorcycles and Formula 1, and was part of team behind the ground-breaking, live skydiving TV ad.
Prior to joining M&C Saatchi Talk, Steve was managing partner at The Brooklyn Brothers, an earned-first advertising agency, where he headed up the PR and Social team and provided earned media expertise to shape attention-grabbing comms strategy, creative development, and large-scale, integrated campaigns.
