M&C Saatchi Talk has appointed a new head of consumer, Lucy Swan, to lead and grow the agency’s extensive consumer brand portfolio. She will sit on the agency’s seven-strong leadership team.
Lucy brings 20 years of agency experience to the business, having led teams to deliver award-winning work for clients including Mars, Nestlé, Microsoft, Warburtons, Kenwood, Nivea, Bayer, Glenfiddich, Jägermeister and Ford. Prior to M&C Saatchi Talk, Lucy held board-level positions at Porter Novelli where she was head of brand, and WPP agency Clarion Communications where she had a dual role of managing partner and creative director.
Ryan Woor, COO of M&C Saatchi Talk, said: “We are delighted to welcome Lucy to M&C Saatchi. We are entering a new era as a communications agency, with a super-charged client offer that spans media, experiential, social, digital and influence. Lucy is a multi-faceted leader, with extensive experience across the board. She has the unique advantage of having worked as both a creative and client lead, so knows how to bring great ideas to life. We’re confident she can help us fulfil our ambition to become a top 10 agency.”
Lucy added: “I am thrilled to be joining M&C Saatchi Talk at such an exciting time in the agency’s journey. I have long admired the agency’s work and client list and am looking forward to working with the incredible team here to delight clients and deliver truly impactful work.”
Lucy joins M&C Saatchi Talk just six months after the merger between TALK.GLOBAL and M&C Saatchi Public Relations, which brought together two talented teams and a roster of well-known clients and brands including Dixons Carphone, Homebase, EE, Johnson & Johnson, Le Creuset and Southern Comfort.
