M&C Saatchi Shop today announces that Richard Hill has joined as Chief Strategy Officer. Hill joins from Atomic London, where he was Founding Partner & CSO. His appointment completes the new management line-up at M&C Saatchi Shop, joining current Managing Director Will Glynn-Jones, in leading the business.
He has over 20 years’ experience of providing strategic, multi-discipline leadership for clients, including shopper marketing, brand strategy, comms planning, CRM and digital activation. Most recently Hill was a founding partner at Atomic London. Prior to this he launched both Tracey Locke shopper marketing in the UK and Touch DDB, the former activation division of DDB.
Hill said: “In recent years, I’ve witnessed the relentless pressure for brands to deliver more and more measurable outcomes from marketing spend,and to find ways of doing this by embracing evolving technologies. It definitely feels now is the time for a modern shopper activation agency to make their mark.”

Hill’s remit is to build on & lead the strategic output of the agency,whilst closely partnering with clients to help them better navigate shifting consumer & shopper behaviours.
Together with Glynn-Jones, he will continue to develop the agency proposition and help position M&C Saatchi Shop as a leader in shopper, retail and activation.
