'A Creative Review' extols virtue of brutal simplicity
The newly re-launched M&C Saatchi New York has created its first agency promo.
It is based on the founding principle of Maurice and Charles Saatchi when they formed the agency in London 18 years ago: “Brutal Simplicity of Thought.” Pierre Lipton, the agency's Chief Creative Officer, sees the video as playful commentary on the state of the industry, but also as a reminder for agencies to not lose sight of the big idea amidst the dizzying array of media and tech platforms available to brands.
By way of background, M&C Saatchi New York is currently 40+ people and the latest addition to the largest Independent Agency Network, with 27 offices around the world. Current NY clients include Pernod-Ricard, Reebok, UGG, Reckitt Benckiser, The U.S.O.C. and The National Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
