The Brighton Agency is adding to its digital leadership team with the hire of industry veteran Matthew Coble in the new role of SVP, Digital Engagement.
Coble is joining the strategic marketing and creative agency from his own consultancy where he provided integrated digital, marketing, and product development strategic counsel to a wide range of companies, many in the startup and emerging tech fields. He previously was an SVP and Partner at FleishmanHillard in St. Louis where he led its digital communications teams across creative design, experience design, technology, mobile, social media and digital marketing capabilities.
“As a consultant-led organisation our focus is on solving business problems for our clients. We brought Matthew into Brighton initially as a consultant to help us identify ways to grow our digital capabilities across the agency. We were so impressed with his vision and ideas that we asked him to come on board full time,” explained Tina VonderHaar, CEO of Brighton.
In addition to expanding Brighton’s digital footprint across departments and capabilities, Coble will work with agency clients on a range of programs. He has already provided insight to such clients as Mars and Monsanto.
“Brighton already has sophisticated digital offerings that go beyond many agencies. They build business applications for clients and create solutions that drive business results,” said Matthew Coble. Adding, “I’m excited to be part of Brighton’s future.”
Coble brings deep digital agency experience to Brighton having worked at such agencies as Agency.com, Schematic (now Possible) and others. He has led development of a broad range of digital solutions from a gaming platform for The Coca-Cola Company and Turner Broadcasting to digital platforms for AT&T, Microsoft, Nestle Purina and others. He is a graduate of Duke University.
