Matt Lowery Joins Gramercy Park Studios as Head of 3D

Gramercy Park Studios is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Lowery, who joins the company as Head of 3D.

Matt joins Gramercy Park Studios after forging a formidable career within the animation and post production sectors. Before joining GPS, Matt had been a Senior 3D Artist at Glassworks, a leading post production house with offices in London, Amsterdam and Barcelona. Prior to Glassworks, Matt was Head of 3D in a Johannesburg-based post production facility.

Regarding his appointment, Matt says: “It was the right time for me to join Gramercy Park Studios and start the next chapter in my career. Having spoken to Richard (Ireland, MD) and Francisco (Lima, VFX Technology Supervisor) I realized that, with the opportunities and ambition the company has, joining GPS would be a great move. Luckily, Richard and his team thought so too. I’m looking forward to creating some great work and working with some great people.”

Matt brings with him years of experience working at the very highest level in the world of animation and post production. We have a lot of exciting projects coming up over next couple of months and into next year and we’re excited to be growing and developing Matt’s team to ensure clients have a CG offering to match the other disciplines at Gramercy Park Studios.
