Global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi has appointed MEC’s Matt Adams as Deputy Head of UK Media with responsibility for leading the development of the agency’s media offering in the UK.
Adams will focus on further growing the agency’s media capabilities as a key part of its service offering, which blends strategic, creative, media and technical expertise to help transform clients’ business for the digital age.
Adams will be based in DigitasLBi’s London office and will report to Ed Ling, who joined the agency as Chief UK and International Media Officer in 2012. Adams will also take on client leadership responsibilities and work closely with Managing Director of the agency’s Edinburgh office, Steven Mallon.
Adams formerly worked with Ling in his most recent role at the global media agency MEC. At MEC, Adams was International Managing Partner with board-level responsibility for digitally-led EMEA accounts including Marriott, BlackRock, Citibank and Xerox. His remit spanned communications strategy, commercial management and digital leadership across the network.
Prior to joining MEC in 2009, Adams held roles at a number of media owners such as Yahoo! Europe, IPC Media, Maiden Outdoor and TradeDoubler.
