Leading creative VFX, animation, and motion design studio, Mathematic, collaborates with Publicis Conseil agency and production companies La Pac, Prodigious France, Biscuit Filmworks, and Boogie Films to commemorate the 175th anniversary of pharmaceutical giant, Pfizer.
The celebratory spot, which aired at the Super Bowl LVIII, is a homage to Pfizer's legacy and commitment to ‘outdo yesterday’, which brings to life revered scientific luminaries of the past in a humorous singalong set to Queen's iconic anthem, "Don't Stop Me Now."
Directed by Noam Murro, through La Pac, the film is a love letter to science from all those who work at Pfizer and those involved in the film’s production.
From animating a statue of Hippocrates and even drawing jumping beans in Petri dishes, the result is a visually stunning ode to scientific innovation that captivates audiences with its creative flair while maintaining a delicate balance between entertainment and scientific accuracy.
Laurent Larapidie, senior VFX supervisor at Mathematic, comments, “Working on this commercial was not just a project; it was an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the rich history of medical and scientific discovery. Through meticulous research and creative exploration, we aimed to craft a visual narrative that not only celebrates Pfizer's legacy but also pays tribute to the countless scientists whose contributions have shaped modern medicine.”
