MassiveMusic have reworked the famous ‘Bolero’ in All Wrapped Up Early, Samsung’s first Christmas TV commercial in the UK.

Created by Cheil UK, the spot shows the Galaxy Note 4 as a must-have tool this festive season. The Galaxy is used to film a children’s school nativity in one scene, whilst in another it becomes the perfect way in which to carry out a spot of last minute Christmas shopping – all from the comfort of the bedroom.

MassiveMusic London carried out the updated vocal arrangement and recording of Bolero, with the track’s link to Torvill and Dean’s legendary Winter Olympics performance providing a subtle, subconscious link to the magic of the festive season. 

MassiveMusic’s Paul Reynolds says “We recorded the vocal in a very natural way, like a normal Samsung user singing along to the music. We did this as we wanted to make that connection with the intimate, family moments.”

The ad made it’s debut during ITV’s I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here.

All Wrapped Up Early will be a followed by another ad – Christmas Round Ours – which launches on 24th November. The work was created by Jim Eyre and Dave Newbold, and directed by Josh and Xander through Radical Media.
