Masked Mystery in Ben Strebel’s Director’s Cut Video for The Hour
Having drawn visual comparisons to the likes of FKA twigs and The Blaze on his stunning music video for ‘Wasted’ from enigmatic band The Hour, SKUNK director Ben Strebel makes a remarkable director’s cut for the second single ‘Answer’.

Following the theme of the last film and the band’s own distinction, masks are once again used to examine The Hour’s belief in freedom through anonymity.

Of the release, the band state: “This video is about choice or lack of it. It’s about the contrasting opinions in the decisions we make for our children and the lasting effect it might have on them.”

Ben Strebel elaborates: “For this film we explore the stark differences between the old and new generations, often even within each family and the divisiveness this can cause. The film challenges the idea of privacy and begs the question of whether anonymity is isolating or protective.”

The official music video premiered today on Hunger TV.
