Marvel Superheros Invade Disneyland to Promote New Guardians of the Galaxy Ride

Disneyland is turning up the heat on their Marvel franchise by marking this summer as the Summer of Heroes. With the release of the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride Mission: BREAKOUT! in Disney’s California Adventure, Disney is going to showcase more of its heroes throughout the park.

Disney theme parks have a big summer ahead of them with major new attractions opening May 27 based on two movies, one about the Marvel Comics superheroes from “Guardians of the Galaxy” and the other about the lush alien world of Pandora from the James Cameron film “Avatar.”

Disney released an ad for their summer events, including the anticipated ride, directed by Misko Iho - a true master of mixing reality with imagination.
