Martin Campbell Soars Super Olympians to South Korea for United

Marketing & PR
Los Angeles, USA
Saville Productions director creates two superhero-inspired spots starring skier Gus Kenworthy and snowboarder Jamie Anderson

Venice-based production company Saville Productions has helmed four United Airlines spots for the Winter Olympics in South Korea, showcasing Olympians and airline pilots alike as proud superheroes soaring to PyeongChang.

The two :15 and two :30 ads, directed by Saville Productions director Martin Campbell, give star Olympians superhero personas such as “Air Rader” (American freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy) and “Arctic Angel” (American professional snowboarder Jamie Anderson) as they arrive to the conclusion that yes, they may be super...but they can’t fly.

UA employee superheroes:

– Nancy Barteczko – Pilot

– Lemont Penn – Customer Service Rep

– Mike Murgaditchian – Operations

– Craig Cosentino – Ramp/Baggage

– Michael Turner – Ramp/Wingwalker

– Karla Gonzales De La Torre – Flight Attendant
