Marriott International, Inc. has appointed Amsterdam-based social media agency, LikeFriends, to develop the digital communications strategy for its Moxy Hotels brand.
LikeFriends’ remit includes the design of the Moxy Hotels website and social media platforms, ensuring a strategic and fully integrated approach.
Created in partnership with Nordic Hospitality and with Inter Hospitality Holding as the owner and developer of the first six properties, Moxy Hotels is one of the newest and most exciting brands within the Marriott International global portfolio, designed especially for the millennial traveller.
Following extensive research on the rapidly emerging millennial traveller and in response to their unique needs, each hotel will combine contemporary design with approachable service at a reasonable price, offering the latest in technology for easy connectivity. Moxy Hotels will open its first location in Milan, Italy, this September and is projected to reach 150 hotels within the next ten years.
