Global integrated marketing agency The Marketing Store is marking the festive season by inviting clients to challenge staff members to virtual games of charades, using online video and Twitter.
On the 18th, 19th and 20th December, The Marketing Store is live streaming ‘Give us a Tweet’, an online twist on a classic charades game. Clients and friends of the agency will be invited to the website to watch The Marketing Store staff playing charades. Guesses can be made live via Twitter; whoever is the current actor will be able to see the guesses that are tweeted, so they can interact with anyone playing, and confirm any correct answers
The Marketing Store has developed the website ‘Give us a Tweet’ to steam the video of staff members. The address will be supplied to clients and friends of the agency so that anyone can join in. With every correct guess via twitter the agency will donate to a local charity.
Chris Tyas, Head of Digital at The Marketing Store, said: “We could send out hundreds of Christmas cards that would sit on a string in an office for a couple of weeks and end up in the recycling bin, but we decided to put our philosophy of tangible interactions into practice instead, and have a bit of fun at the same time. It’s amazing how many theatrical stuff our Christmas card has unearthed too.”
