Mark moves from executive creative director role

The Creative Engagement Group (TCEG) is strengthening its creative innovation capabilities by evolving the role of its executive creative director, Mark Gass to become its group creative innovation officer.

The evolved role comes at a time when the Group recognises that there has never been a more important time to drive creative innovation with the daily emergence of exciting new ideas, methodologies and technical innovations.

The new role will capitalise on the unique blend of skills at TCEG given the recent development of its Behavioural Science unit led by Guy Champniss; the addition of Cormis (capability development) and Logicearth (digital learning consultancy) alongside the company’s existing expertise in experiential, digital & immersive, film and employee engagement. Gass will work closely with the group’s Strategic services team led by Richard Burton and its Digital & Immersive team led by Spencer Conway.

Mark has held the role of executive creative director and has been with the company for over 12 years. He joined TCEG from TBWA\ where he was responsible for developing campaigns for many of the world’s leading FMCG and retail brands.

Mark will retain responsibility for the overall creative output of the Group and work closely with its creative directors in London, Manchester, Plymouth, Belfast and Philadelphia.

Russ Lidstone, group CEO of The Creative Engagement Group said: “All areas of our unusually shaped business are focussed on engaging audiences in ways that other communications groups cannot. We are now able to apply creative innovation alongside applied psychology and our world class executional capabilities to create the moments that inspire lasting change. This is something that the business world needs now more than ever.”

Mark Gass, group creative innovations officer at The Creative Engagement Group said: "Creative innovation has always been important. But as we move forward into the hybrid world it has become essential. I look forward to strengthening the ability of The Creative Engagement Group to help deliver innovative solutions and even greater impact for our clients.’

The Creative Engagement Group is a division of Huntsworth.
