Marjan Brand Continues Cinematic Advertising with Latest Release from Juice VFX Studio

Marjan brand, a premium producer of high-quality syrup, has collaborated with VFX studio Juice to release a new commercial that showcases VFX and CG animation techniques. The commercial, directed by in-house director Eric Will and developed in partnership with BBDO Indonesia, features a cinematic battle scene with a sea monster terrorising a seaside village, only to be defeated by a brave warrior.

The commercial features VFX and animation work, with highlights including water and fire simulations, dragon animation, and a mostly CG-generated environment. The use of VFX techniques in advertising shows how creative agencies can push the boundaries of storytelling and create immersive experiences for brand audiences.

"We had a blast working on this project for the past few months. Having Eric Will in charge always means let your imagination run wild. The cinematic battle scene had us on the edge of our seats. This commercial is an example of how storytelling and VFX techniques can come together to create a memorable and impactful ad campaign," said CG supervisor Jakub Wrzalik of Juice VFX studio.

The commercial was released before Ramadan and quickly went viral in Indonesia, garnering millions of views across various platforms.
