Marie-Piere Poulin Named Executive Producer at Rodeo FX

The producer joins the advertising and experiential division of the creative company

Rodeo FX announces the arrival of Marie-Piere Poulin as a 360° executive producer. A new addition to the advertising and experiences division that recently collaborated on an international campaign for the video game The Callisto Protocol.

In the last 20 years, Marie-Piere has worked for the largest agencies in Quebec such as Sid Lee, Cossette, LG2, Taxi, and more recently, Rethink, where she held the position of Production Lead. With experience on both sides of the creative brief (sometimes directly in the agency, sometimes as a freelancer or consultant), she was able to not only produce large-scale campaigns for brands like McDonald's and General Motors, but also helped establish many production processes that are still in place today.

"Production is the stage where you have to transform the creative concept into a tangible reality," shares Marie-Piere. "It requires a lot of agility and good resource and time management. With Rodeo, we have the opportunity to use the same resources and technology used in major Hollywood VFX productions and access artists specialized in CG, matte painting, FX, creatures, animation, etc., and work in synergy with the artists in the advertising department. This creates a hybrid pipeline to better meet the time and budget constraints of our advertising clients. It's the best of both worlds!"

Rodeo's Advertising and Experiences division has just delivered the multiplatform campaign for the video game The Callisto Protocol, in partnership with Sid Lee and Digital Kitchen, consisting of a blockbuster worthy trailer, huge 3D billboards in Times Square and Piccadilly Circus, and an immersive experience unveiled at Gamescom in Germany. 

"This project is a perfect example of the division's ambition to have a true 360° and experiential approach," adds Marie-Piere. "We're fortunate to be able to work with clients at all scales, whether it's international or local. That's the huge advantage of having a company that has multiple complementary production channels."

It is this 360° service offering that greatly influenced her decision to join Rodeo. It's the chance to offer all services under one roof, whether it's production, post-prod, VFX, audio, original music, and of course the experiential aspect.
