Manners McDade’s George King Creates Thoughtful Score for Montblanc’s Pledge for Sustainability

Composer George King contributes a bespoke composition to Montblanc’s Pledge for Sustainability campaign, supervised by Pitch & Sync and Manners McDade. 

The bright yet subtle score from George King details Montblanc’s latest campaign, with soaring synths and light percussion illustrating the brand’s ethos and elevating the company’s sustainable initiatives.

The inception of this track began with the delicate synth melody and grew into the rousing, hopeful piece that works so well against the visual.

George King is a London-based multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ, also known as Catching Flies. His 2019 album, Silver Linings, was a great success and was followed by Silver Linings Remixed. Artists such as Laurence Guy, Ron Basejam, Andhim and more were invited to put their spin on the brilliant album tracks.

George’s music is upbeat, hopeful and atmospheric - it often incorporates vocal sampling techniques and creates atmospheric, melodically-driven, immersive sound environments. He will perform, as Catching Flies, at London’s Koko on Friday 6th May.
