Mango Melbourne has appointed experienced PR manager Jessica Allison as Head of Communications.
Allison joins the Mango team with more than 12 years’ experience across a broad range of industries and verticals, including client and agency-side roles.
“Jess’ passion and enthusiasm to work as part of an integrated team like ours, and her proven experience in positioning PR rightly at the centre of strategy and creativity, made her the perfect choice for us as we enter 2018,” DDB Group Melbourne Managing Director Kate Sterling said.
“Her wide knowledge and capability across categories, including Luxury, Consumer, Retail and Lifestyle, is a brilliant plus for our existing clients but also of enormous value given our relentless focus on growth,” Sterling said.
Allison has worked across agencies including PR Edge, Haystac and Red, along with in-house roles at Harvey Nichols in London and Cynthia Rowley in New York.
Mango also welcomes back Managing Director Rebecca Ahern from maternity leave.
“Even from the early days of my career I’ve always admired the work that has come out of Mango and DDB. When I met Kate and Rebecca the chemistry felt right, so I’m thrilled to be joining them and looking forward to delivering clever communications solutions for our clients in 2018 and beyond,” Allison said.
“We are thrilled to have Rebecca back with us, leading a dynamic team with Jess and driving continued growth for Mango’s broad client roster,” Sterling said.
