Leading digital creative agency, The Minimart, has been appointed by Macmillan Cancer Support to join the charity’s roster of digital agencies. Having previously worked on a number of successful digital projects with the charity’s fundraising team, The Minimart will now be working on developing digital creative that builds on the successful, integrated Not Alone campaign strategy.
With cancer being such an emotive issue, the heart of the communications task is to engage emotionally with people, which can be a creative challenge in digital display especially when many small formats traditionally work better with more rational messages. Inspiring and motivating a larger audience to engage with the charity will be fundamental to achieving Macmillan's long term goal of preventing anyone from facing cancer alone. We believe online is one of the most immediate and effective way to achieve this.
Ed Chilcott, Founding Creative Partner, commented, "As the number of people living with cancer continues to rise, it will become harder and harder for Macmillan to offer the necessary support to everyone who needs it. There needs to be a movement to inspire people to be more proactive in how they give their support. Macmillan is right at the front of this movement and we’re delighted to be working with them again”
