Machine Hires Ben Gulvin as Senior Sound Designer

Sound and music company Machine has announced the addition of Ben Gulvin to its team of sound designers. The hire indicates a bold commitment to the company's strategy of continued growth post-COVID-19.

An award-winning sound designer, with a dedication to creative storytelling, Ben joins Patch Rowland and Alex Bingham as an integral part of the senior creative team in London. The hire confirms Machine's desire to build a strong, craft-focused roster.  

BenG has worked on countless campaigns throughout his career, across TV, cinema, radio and short film. He takes enormous pride in the resulting work, be it abstract, conceptual or intricate naturalistic sound design. NHS “We are the NHS”, Met Police “Code Severe”, Smart Energy "Powering Cities", Carwow "Car buying tamed" and Lynx "Forget about labels" are just some examples.

“It’s always a great feeling to get stuck in with the agency and production team,” says Ben. “To be an integral part of the creative process, deliver a brief and collaborate on ideas.”

Gulvin joins Machine after a 17 year tenure at 750mph. “I’ve been fortunate to be around the best in the industry. From the get-go I was in an environment where attention to the finer details was a standard expectation. The wealth of talent I was surrounded by gave me the inspiration and drive to learn, develop and refine my career. The decision to leave 750mph was a tough one. However, the opportunity to develop my career further at Machine and be an integral part of their growth was something I could not miss out on. To work with Patch, Alex, Matej and all the team at Machine is very exciting, I cannot wait to get started."
