Luminous Technologies Takes the Unconventional Road to Celebrate World Nature Conservation Day

World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated on July 28th annually and the day is celebrated to create awareness about natural resources. It also encourages people to protect the earth’s natural resources which is fast depleting owing to over exploitation. Using the power of SOLAR, is the best way to beat the stress of global warming and climate change and promotes efforts towards saving energy resources. As Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the Sun, Luminuos technologies urges everyone to wish their friends and family a Happy SUN-day everyday with the help of Master Blaster and the living legend, Mr. Sachin Tendulkar.

With the increasing threat of carbon footprint due to overuse of depleting natural resources is looming over us, Luminous wanted to focus on ways on what can be done to curb it. Using natural energy from the Sun is the best way to reduce the harmful impacts of carbon footprints.

Considering this, AutumnGrey (Bangalore) conceptualized and created the campaign #EveryDayIsASUNDay with Luminous Solar by bringing a light-hearted approach to celebrate the day and bring to the light, an idea of sustainable way of living and finding alternate ways of consuming energy for a cleaner and greener world. Roping in Sachin for the cause, created buzz amongst his fans as he wished everyone a ‘Happy SUN-day’ by listing the benefits of solar power and how can all of us save the planet by doing our bit.

Reflecting on the campaign Anusha Shetty, chairperson and group CEO at Grey Group, India said: “Solar is one of the most transformative technology out there. To be able to generate power without relying on depleting fossil fuels is the need of the hour. And I’m glad we’re associated with a brand that genuinely cares about the environment. With this campaign, Luminous Technologies generates intrigue and then uses the platform to talk about the bigger issue at hand.”

Sachin Bhalla, sr. vice president, Luminous Power Technologies says: “At Luminous, we take pride in developing sustainable solutions such as solar, energy-efficient fans, and LED lighting. The occasion of Nature Conservation Day provided us with an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to educating the community about how solar energy can help to prevent global warming.”

Sharing her thoughts on the campaign, Swati Balani, ECD-AutumnGrey says: “Conversations on sustainability and nature conservation are getting more serious every day. We wanted to take a light-hearted approach reminding our consumers that saving the environment is in their hands with Solar and Luminous Technologies is there to help them in every step of the way!”
