Slingshot and Lucky Post have traversed the great state with two consecutive Texas Tourism campaigns. This year’s spots show off interesting places and activities, beloved by many and begging to be experienced by even more. The Texas Means Friend spot encourages viewers to explore the state like a local,” evokes the inclusive spirit of Texas culture and introduces the vast discoveries people make when they adventure beyond the beaten path.
“The idea was to expose people to new things, or at least new perspectives on things people love,” explains editor Sai Selvarajan, who discovered places he didn’t know about his home state while working on this year’s trio of spots. "We let the sound design guide the spots. We wanted to immerse people in these locations and let all their senses take them there."
