Video conferencing platform Whereby has appointed Lucky Generals to launch its first brand campaign. The brand, which originated in Norway, is looking to make an impact in the fast-growing virtual meeting market.
Lucky Generals won the account in January this year, and will launch Whereby’s first-ever brand campaign in spring 2021. The agency will work on the brand positioning of Whereby and establish the company as the leading reliable video conference platform. Whereby targets small to medium businesses as a stress-free user-friendly video meeting service. It can be used on multiple devices without the need to download, making it an ideal space for internal and external participants. They offer a free service and paid business service to all users.
Andy Nairn, founding partner at Lucky Generals, said: “As daily cries of 'you're on mute' and 'can you see my screen now?' continue to haunt us, businesses are realising that choosing the right video conferencing tool is crucial to having good meetings. As a creative business, we’ve already found that Whereby is a more natural, intuitive choice, and so we’re excited to be the ones to build its brand.”
“We are thrilled to be working with Lucky Generals as we build the Whereby brand." added Rory Woodbridge, product marketing director at Whereby. "Lucky Generals has a fantastic history of collaborating with challenger brands that have shaken up their industries, so we’re excited to team up with them on positioning Whereby as a fresh solution to the video meeting fatigue that a lot of people are feeling at the moment.”
