Lowe Malaysia has appointed Zaidi Awang as their new Executive Creative Director. At Lowe he will partner core management, driving the agency’s mandate of delivering creatively effective business solutions. His appointment is effective immediately.
Named one of Malaysia’s Hottest Creative Talents, Zaidi joins Lowe from Leo Burnett Malaysia, where he spent eight years leading award-winning teams as Creative Director. During his career, he has worked on some of the country’s top blue chip brands in Maybank, Petronas, Proton, Celcom, Malaysia Airlines, McDonalds, Dutch Lady, TNB, Naza TTDI, Phillip Morris, P&G, Sime Darby [Corporation], to name a few.
Over the last 20+ years he has won local and international awards including Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clio, AdFest, Australian Awards, Communication Arts Annual, Luerzer’s Archives, Spikes Asia, The Work, Malaysian Effies, and Malaysian Kancil.

Zaidi replaces Brandie Tan who has moved back to his home country Philippines to pursue other career interests.
