Directors team up on spots showing the personal but universal journey of searching for the next employment opportunity

Love Song’s Rodney Passè and Illimiteworld Direct Character-Driven Series of Spots for Indeed

Love Song has produced Indeed’s newest advertising campaign. Rodney Passè and Illimiteworld direct the series of spots showing the personal but universal journey of searching for the next employment opportunity. Each film hones in on one character, touching on the catalyst for finding a new job, then following them as they successfully work towards their goals.

The campaign highlights Indeed’s unique approach to the dreaded job-hunt, seamlessly integrating the search, application, and interview process, which allows the heroes to be more present in their everyday lives. In the series, we follow a recent graduate living at home searching for a job that aligns with a more desirable salary, a hairdresser and a mom looking to begin work again, and a paralegal who refuses to settle, among other situations typical of what job seekers face in the modern hiring landscape. Passè directs Marion and Allison; Illimiteworld directs Taylor, Fabien, and Sam; and the campaign’s anthem film is co-directed by both.

Passè says of the spot, “I wanted to take the opportunity with these spots to embrace the authenticity of these people, dig deep, and get real. Who among us hasn’t been there? I knew I needed to take a different approach and bring the emotionality of what these characters are going through to the forefront and create a sort of cinematic diary with this series. I want the viewer to feel like they’re in the thick of it with these people.”

Love Song’s co-founder Kelly Bayett adds, “One of the best things about this campaign and the approach that Rodney and Illimiteworld take, is they push the emotion of the pieces with their approach to the talent.  They are intimate views of each character’s journey, with incredible cinematography. 72 and Indeed both wanted to push the boundaries of what is expected in the category and gave the directors freedom to execute their vision.”

Love Song was founded by Kelly Bayett and Daniel Wolfe.
