The 33rd edition of the El Sol festival awarded the best work across the Ibero-American region in Bilbao, Spain this past weekend with over 1,600 ads from 20 different countries.
This year, LOLA MullenLowe swept the show bringing home 3 Grand Prizes, 10 Gold, 15 Silver, 11 Bronze and 1 Platinum (Best in Show).
The awards were given for 8 different clients that include Unilever brands Magnum, Frigo Pie and Brooke Bond, Mattel´s Scrabble and Pictionary, San Miguel Beer, Libero and Burger King.
Scary Clown Night, by LOLA MullenLowe for Burger King was the biggest winner having been awarded the Platinum Sun, the most prestigious prize in the festival, the Grand Prize for Integrated Campaigns, Grand Prize for Activation of Sales, Grand Prize in Media, in addition to other 13 awards.
LOLA MullenLowe was named agency of the year in 2014 and 2016 in the same festival.
