Logicearth Learning Services, a division of The Creative Engagement Group, has appointed Eva Farkas-Czifra to the role of digital designer and Jonathan Davis as learning experience designer as part of expansion plans for the design department.
Eva Farkas-Czifra joins from Kanovits Print where she was a graphic designer, for the past five years specialising in print design; including a campaign for Xerox Idridesse Swatchbook featuring their printed metallic colour palette. Prior to Kanovits Print, Eva’s worked as a digital design teacher. Based in Slovakia, Eva is now relocating permanently to Belfast.
Eva Farkas-Czifra, digital designer at Logicearth Learning Services, says: “The pandemic gave me an opportunity to look at other choices, I’ve always loved the UK and Ireland, and now achieved my ambition to live and work in Belfast. I’m looking forward to working with the team”.
Darren Rooney, lead digital designer, Logicearth Learning Services, adds: “Eva contacted me via LinkedIn last year for advice about transitioning into digital design. We were actually building our digital design team and during our discussions she expressed an interest in relocating, I told her about the role. When she applied, she had already adapted her portfolio to demonstrate her improving digital skill set. It was impressive and refreshing to see someone with a keen interest and willingness to learn. We thought Eva would be a great fit, and we’re happy to welcome her to the team.”
Jonathan Davis previously worked with a wide range of clients including Exxon Mobil, Intuit and the NHS. He began his career in learning design developing training for senior police officers, and has since worked with both UK and international learning providers, designing and delivering everything from traditional digital learning through to immersive learning experiences and large-scale professional certification programmes.
Jonathan Davis, learning experience designer at Logicearth Learning Services, says: “I’ve joined the company at an exciting time and couldn’t be more thrilled at the opportunities to work with existing and new clients, designing and delivering the very best learning solutions.”
Logicearth Learning Services was acquired by The Creative Engagement Group in April last year and forms the digital learning division of the group.
Peter Carlin, director & co-founder of Logicearth Learning Services, adds: “We are experiencing a sustained period of growth; working on ever more complex learning solutions that have to be creative, practical and engaging. This drive for complexity is sustained by the need to engage users in new and innovative ways and our work includes solving more strategic business problems with planned innovations in compliance.”
Paul McKay, director & co-founder Logicearth Learning Services, concludes: “As we move forward, our clients are valuing our agnostic approach and our unique blended learning design model. It feels liberating to hire talent from anywhere, we are delighted to welcome two extremely talented individuals to the team. Eva, originally from Slovakia, has moved to Northern Ireland to become part of the Digital Design Team and Jonathan has joined as a Learning Experience Designer working remotely from North England.”
