Loco and UKMVAs Celebrate 10 Years of the Best in Music Videos

Loco continue their post-production partnership and announce sponsorship of the Best Director category

Loco and UKMVAs Celebrate 10 Years of the Best in Music Videos

Loco is proud to have been the post production partner of the UK Music Video Awards since they began 10 years ago, and they are pleased to announce their sponsorship of the Best Director category.

Working closely with event director Louise Stevens of Ballistic Events, Loco’s Arlene Dignam has led the production team to create the video packages for projection on the big screens. With more than 30 categories and six nominees in each, that makes for a lot of fantastic content. Editors Emily Ledger and Liam Hawe also worked with video artist Sam Bailey to animate the visual stings, and with David Knight of PromoNews, they created the opening montage.

Loco was established in 1994 as a boutique post production facility and has grown into a full-service video production and post production creative hot shop. They are a talented team of animators, editors, VFX artists, colourists and directors who share a passion for visual media. Music videos are a natural extension of their creative ethos.

Loco Creative Director Danny Coster says, “Loco loves working with Music Videos as it gives our team real freedom to explore finishing techniques and styles. We’re proud to sponsor the Best Director category and give recognition to some truly outstanding film making”.

The UKMVAs is the premier awards show dedicated to innovation and creativity in music video around the world. Every year, it celebrates the best of British and international music videos across a wide range of genres, budgets as well as creative and technical disciplines.

This year, Adam Buxton will be hosting the Awards on Thursday 26th October at legendary London venue, The Roundhouse. Tickets are available for purchase on the UKMVA website
