Paul Bradbury, Chief Executive Officer of Whybin\TBWA Group Sydney, today announced Liz Harper will join the Sydney office as General Manager, Digital Arts Network (DAN) Sydney and Digital Director, Whybin\TBWA Group Sydney.
Harper joins from Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) London where she was the Strategic Business Lead for Google, BBH Build and BBH Labs.
Harper managed the development of strategy and creation of creative integrated campaigns to support Google Chrome, Chromebook, Google Business Brand, YouTube B2B and Voice Search products. During that time Google Chrome officially became the World’s number one browser.
She was also an integral part of the team that set up BBH London’s digital realization unit, BBH Build. By partnering with the co-founder of BBH Labs – BBH’s global innovation unit – Harper also drove pioneering research into emerging forms of marketing, platforms and ways of working.
Prior to BBH, Harper was Content Supervisor at Crispin Porter Bogusky in Boulder, London and Miami for six years, producing and driving award-winning campaigns for the likes of Microsoft Windows, Windows Phone 7, Volkswagen and Mini Cooper brands.
Harper will partner with existing DAN Creative Director, Russ Tucker.
Commenting on Harper’s appointment, Tucker said, “Liz is a true collaborator. She’s worked in some of the best agencies globally and with some of the most innovative brands. She brings with her a deep understanding of how brands and digital platforms can work together beyond traditional marketing.”
Bradbury commented, “This is a critical hire for our company and believe me, we searched high and low. Liz has a creative and digital pedigree you don’t find every day. We feel very confident Liz is going to fit in very nicely here.”
“I'm honoured and humbled to be joining the management team at Whybins and look forward to partnering with Russ to lead the stellar team at DAN,” added Harper. “The vision at Whybin\TBWA Group is ambitious and clear. I’m excited about the opportunity to continue that momentum in digital and keep solving problems for clients.”
